In the film We're the Millers, David recruited Rose, Kenny, and Casey to form a fake family after his drug stash had been stolen by local ruffian. Before they finally met the villain, a ruthless drug lord who called Pablo Chacon, a massive shipment of weed had already been smuggled by the group out of Mexico. Although they had never acted like a real family before this ridiculous crime began, they had to work together to safely cross the United States border.
